Liquor Control Commission for fiscal year 1998. Effective

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
6 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
7 Dram Shop Fund to the Liquor Control Commission:
8 For Personal Services ........................ $ 1,868,900
9 For Employee Retirement Contributions
10 Paid by Employer ............................ 74,800
11 For State Contributions to State
12 Employees' Retirement System ................ 95,300
13 For State Contributions to
14 Social Security ............................. 140,400
15 For Group Insurance .......................... 265,000
16 For Contractual Services ..................... 347,100
17 For Travel ................................... 86,300
18 For Commodities .............................. 18,700
19 For Printing ................................. 9,200
20 For Equipment ................................ 19,300
21 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 18,100
22 For Telecommunications Services .............. 68,300
23 For Operation of Automotive Equipment......... 100
24 For Refunds .................................. 2,000
25 Total $3,013,500
26 Section 2. The amount of $87,900 is appropriated from
27 the Dram Shop Fund to the Liquor Control Commission to
28 automate the inspection functions of the investigative staff.
29 Section 3. The amount of $300,000, or so much thereof as
30 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to

1 the Liquor Control Commission to conduct a study to determine
2 the extent of enforcement of laws relating to access by
3 minors to tobacco products.
4 Section 4. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the
6 Retailer Education Program from the Dram Shop Fund to the
7 Liquor Control Commission, for the objects and purposes
8 hereinafter named:
