2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
6 for the ordinary and contingent expenses to the Illinois
7 Commerce Commission:

29 disbursing funds collected for the Single State Insurance
30 Registration Program to be distributed to: (1) participating
31 states, provided that no distributions exceed funds made
32 available from registration collections; and (2) for refunds

1 for overpayments.
2 Section 5. The sum of $2,012,000, or so much thereof as
3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation
4 Regulatory Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in
5 monitoring railroad crossing safety.
6 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
7 July 1, 1997.
