          Makes appropriations or reappropriations or both  to  the
      Illinois  Sports  Facilities  Authority for fiscal year 1998.
      Effective July 1, 1997.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations.
 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section 1.  The sum of $18,000,000, or so much thereof as
 5    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated from the Illinois Sports
 6    Facilities Fund to the Illinois Sports  Facilities  Authority
 7    for its corporate purposes.
 8        Section 999.  Effective date.  This Act becomes effective
 9    on July 1, 1997.
