      725 ILCS 5/102-3          from Ch. 38, par. 102-3
          Amends the Code of Criminal  Procedure  of  1963.   Makes
      grammatical  changes  in Section construing singular, plural,
      masculine, and feminine terms.

 1        AN ACT to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 by
 2    changing Section 102-3.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section  5.   The  Code  of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is
 6    amended by changing Section 102-3 as follows:
 7        (725 ILCS 5/102-3) (from Ch. 38, par. 102-3)
 8        Sec. 102-3. Singular term includes plural-Gender.
 9        A singular term includes shall include the plural and the
10    masculine gender includes shall include the  feminine  except
11    when  a  particular  context  clearly  requires  a  different
12    meaning.
