          Appropriates $2 to the Historic  Preservation  Agency  to
      study preservation issues.  Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN   ACT   making   an   appropriation  to  the  Historic
 2    Preservation Agency.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section  5.   The amount of $2, or as much of that amount
 6    as  may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated  to  the   Historic
 7    Preservation Agency to study preservation issues.
 8        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
 9    1, 1998.
