          Appropriates the sum of $2, or so much of that amount  as
      may  be  necessary,  to  the  Department of Nuclear Safety to
      study nuclear safety issues.  Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT  to  make  appropriations  to  the  Department  of
 2    Nuclear Safety to study nuclear safety issues.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The sum of $2, or so much of that  amount  as
 6    may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated  to  the  Department of
 7    Nuclear Safety to study nuclear safety issues.
 8        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  July
 9    1, 1998.
