          Appropriates $2 to the Department of State Police for the
      study of police issues.  Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations to the Department  of  State
 2    Police.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The sum of $2, or so much thereof as  may  be
 6    necessary,  is appropriated to the Department of State Police
 7    for the study of police issues.
 8        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  July
 9    1, 1998.
