          Appropriates $300,000 to the Department of Public  Health
      to  fund  the  Osteoporosis Prevention and Education Program.
      Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT making  an  appropriation  to  the  Department  of
 2    Public Health.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The amount of $300,000, or so much thereof as
 6    may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public
 7    Health to fund  the  Osteoporosis  Prevention  and  Education
 8    Program created under P.A. 88-622.
 9        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
10    1, 1998.
