          Appropriates $1 to the Capital Development Board from the
      Capital Development Fund for a grant  to  renovate  the  Mary
      Brown  Community Center in East St. Louis.  Effective July 1,
      1998.

 1        AN ACT regarding appropriations.
 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section  5.  The  amount of $1, or so much of that amount
 5    as  may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated  to   the   Capital
 6    Development  Board  from  the  Capital Development Fund for a
 7    grant to renovate the Mary Brown Community Center in East St.
 8    Louis.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  July
10    1, 1998.
