          Makes an appropriation of $1 to the Department  of  Human
      Services for expenses related to alcohol and other drug abuse
      and dependency services.  Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations.
 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section 5.  The amount of $1, or so much of  that  amount
 5    as  may  be  necessary,  is appropriated to the Department of
 6    Human Services for expenses related to alcohol and other drug
 7    abuse and dependency services.
 8        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
 9    July 1, 1998.
