      30 ILCS 105/5.480 new
          Creates a short title Section for the Tobacco  Litigation
      Settlement  Distribution  Act  of  1998.   Amends  the  State
      Finance   Act.    Lists  the  Tobacco  Litigation  Settlement
      Distribution Fund as a special fund in the State treasury.

 1        AN ACT  concerning  distribution  of  tobacco  litigation
 2    settlements.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 1.  Short title.  This Act may be  cited  as  the
 6    Tobacco Litigation Settlement Distribution Act of 1998.
 7        Section  95.   The State Finance Act is amended by adding
 8    Section 5.480 as follows:
 9        (30 ILCS 105/5.480 new)
10        Sec.   5.480.    The   Tobacco   Litigation    Settlement
11    Distribution Fund.
