      205 ILCS 605/6 new
          Amends  the  Consumer  Deposit   Account   Act.    Limits
      automatic  teller machine fees to $0.25 per transaction.

 1        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  Consumer  Deposit Account Act by
 2    adding Section 6.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section  5.  The  Consumer Deposit Account Act is amended
 6    by adding Section 6 as follows:
 7        (205 ILCS 605/6 new)
 8        Sec. 6.  Automatic  teller  machine  fees.   A  financial
 9    institution  may  not  impose  a  fee  in excess of $0.25 per
10    transaction  with  respect  to  a  consumer  deposit  account
11    transaction utilizing an automatic teller machine.
