      415 ILCS 5/3              from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1003
          Amends  the  Environmental  Protection  Act  to  make   a
      technical change. Effective immediately.

 1        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  Environmental  Protection Act by
 2    changing Section 3.
 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by
 6    changing Section 3 as follows:
 7        (415 ILCS 5/3) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1003)
 8        Sec.  3.  Definitions.  For the purposes of this Act, the
 9    words and terms defined in the  Sections  which  follow  this
10    Section  and precede Section 4 shall have the meaning therein
11    given, unless the context otherwise clearly requires.

13        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
14    becoming law.
