      750 ILCS 50/2.1           from Ch. 40, par. 1503
          Amends the Adoption Act to make a technical change  to  a
      provision concerning how to construe the Act.

 1        AN ACT to amend the Adoption Act by changing Section 2.1.
 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section 5.  The  Adoption  Act  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 2.1 as follows:
 6        (750 ILCS 50/2.1) (from Ch. 40, par. 1503)
 7        Sec.  2.1.  Act construed. This Act shall be construed in
 8    concert with the Juvenile Court Act of 1987, the  Child  Care
 9    Act  of  1969, and the Interstate Compact on the Placement of
10    Children.
