 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 690
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill  690  by  deleting
 3    all of Section 5 of the bill; and
 4    by replacing Section 99 of the bill with the following:
 5        "Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect June
 6    1, 1997.".
