 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 780
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill  780  on  page  4,
 3    line 29, by inserting the following after the period:
 4    "The  Department  shall  not  deny  or delay placement of the
 5    child on the basis of the race  or  ethnic  heritage  of  the
 6    child or the prospective foster parent or parents.".
