          Appropriates  $1  to  the  Department   of   Professional
      Regulation   for   its   ordinary  and  contingent  expenses.
      Effective July 1, 1997.

 1        AN ACT making  an  appropriation  to  the  Department  of
 2    Professional Regulation.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The amount of $1, or so much of  that  amount
 6    as may be necessary, is appropriated to meet the ordinary and
 7    contingent   expenses   of  the  Department  of  Professional
 8    Regulation.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
10    July 1, 1997.
