          Makes appropriations to the City Colleges of Chicago  for
      a  workforce preparation and job training program.  Effective
      July 1, 1997.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations  to  the  City  Colleges  of
 2    Chicago.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The sum of $250,000, or so  much  as  may  be
 6    necessary,  is  appropriated  to the City Colleges of Chicago
 7    from the General Revenue Fund for a workforce preparation and
 8    job training program.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
10    July 1, 1997.
