          Appropriates $1 from the  General  Revenue  Fund  to  the
      Department of Children and Family Services for a study of the
      rates   paid   under  the  Subsidized  Guardianship  program.
      Effective July 1, 1998.

 1        AN ACT making appropriations.
 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:
 4        Section  5.  The  amount of $1, or so much of that amount
 5    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
 6    Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for  a
 7    study  of  the  rates  paid under the Subsidized Guardianship
 8    program.
 9        Section 99.  Effective date. This  Act  takes  effect  on
10    July 1, 1998.
