1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1701
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1701 by inserting
3 immediately above Section 5 the following:
4 "Section 4. The Director of Natural Resources, on behalf
5 of the State of Illinois, is authorized to convey and quit
6 claim to the Hamilton County Water District, its successors
7 and assigns, for and in consideration of $10 paid to the
8 Department of Natural Resources, a non-exclusive,
9 unobstructed, perpetual public utility easement for the
10 purpose of erecting, constructing, installing, and laying,
11 and thereafter using, operating, inspecting, repairing,
12 maintaining, replacing, and removing, an underground water
13 pipeline and miscellaneous appurtenances on, over, under, and
14 across the following described real property, together with
15 the right of ingress and egress over the adjacent lands of
16 the State of Illinois, its successors and assigns, for the
17 purpose of this easement, subject to such conditions as may
18 be determined by the Department, to wit:
19 A strip of land 20 feet in width centered on the
20 water pipeline installed or to be installed on and across
21 the Easterly part of the Southeast Quarter of the
22 Northeast Quarter and the Southerly part of the Southwest
23 Quarter of the Southwest Quarter in Section 27, Township

1 4 South, Range 5 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
2 and on and across the Westerly part of the West Half of
3 the Southwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 3 South,
4 Range 5 East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in
5 Hamilton County, Illinois.
6 The Director of Natural Resources shall obtain a certified
7 copy of the portions of this Act containing the title, the
8 enacting clause, the effective date, and this Section within
9 60 days after the effective date of this Act and, upon
10 receipt of payment required by this Section, shall record the
11 certified copy in the Recorder's Office in Hamilton County.".
