1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1892
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1892 on page 5,
3 line 10, by replacing "average" with the following:
4 "average, except that the percentile placement of qualified
5 students from non-recognized high schools shall be determined
6 as follows: those with a cumulative ACT score of 34 or above
7 shall be in the 99th percentile, those with a cumulative ACT
8 score that is at least 33 but less than 34 shall be in the
9 98th percentile, those with a cumulative ACT score that is at
10 least 32 but less than 33 shall be in the 97th percentile,
11 those with a cumulative ACT score that is at least 31 but
12 less than 32 shall be in the 96th percentile, and those with
13 a cumulative ACT score that is at least 7 points above the
14 statewide average cumulative ACT score but less than 31 shall
15 be in the 95th percentile".
