1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of This Body are saddened to learn
3 of the death of Joseph A. Bockman of Yorkville, Illinois; and
4 WHEREAS, Joseph Bockman was born May 2, 1960 in Aurora,
5 Illinois; Mr. Bockman was a member of Cross Lutheran Church,
6 where he was actively involved, and the 3rd ward Club; and
7 WHEREAS, Joseph Bockman was co-owner of Bockman Jewelers
8 Inc., located in Aurora's Northgate Shopping Center; and
9 WHEREAS, Joseph Bockman was a Chicago Blackhawks fan who
10 had season tickets to the games; he was an active fisherman
11 who made annual treks to Canada; he played on a billiards
12 team; and
13 WHEREAS, Joseph Bockman was very family orientated; he
14 enjoyed watching his sons as they played basketball; and
15 WHEREAS, Joseph Bockman is survived by his wife Loree;
16 his sons Tony and Patrick Roscoe; his brother Jim and
17 sister-in-law Louann; his nieces Cortney, Natalie, Lindsey,
18 and Megan Bockman, and Jessica Thompson; his nephews Jimmy,
19 Derrick, and Scott Bockman, and Jeremy Thompson; as well as
20 several aunts and uncles; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
22 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
23 family and friends, the death of Joseph Bockman of Yorkville,
24 Illinois; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Joseph Bockman of Yorkville,
27 Illinois.
