 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 340

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 340 as follows:

 3    on page 1, line 19, by deleting "or his  or  her  designee,";
 4    and

 5    on page 2, by replacing lines 3 and 4 with the following:

 6        "Section  99.  Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
 7    January 1, 2000.".
