 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 458

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 458 on page  2,  by
 3    replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:
 4    "portable   scales   for  all  municipal  and  county  police
 5    officers, technicians, and employees who set up"; and

 6    on page 2, line 23, after  "Agriculture",  by  inserting  the
 7    following:
 8    ", or for those scales operated by the State, when such tests
 9    are requested by the Department of State Police, whichever is
10    more frequent"; and

11    on  page  2,  lines  26  and 27, by replacing "at a frequency
12    prescribed" with "pursuant to this Section"; and

13    on page 3, by replacing lines 4 through 6 with the following:
14    "amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly,  all  municipal
15    and  county  officers,  technicians, and employees who set up
16    and operate portable scales for wheel".
