 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 527

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 527 on  page  3  by
 3    replacing line 15 with the following:
 4    "terminal  owned  or operated by a financial institution, the
 5    financial institution may not assess a  surcharge  against  a
 6    consumer".
