 1        AN ACT to amend the Agricultural Areas  Conservation  and
 2    Protection Act by changing Section 3.01.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.   The  Agricultural  Areas  Conservation  and
 6    Protection  Act  is  amended  by  changing  Section  3.01  as
 7    follows:

 8        (505 ILCS 5/3.01) (from Ch. 5, par. 1003.01)
 9        Sec.  3.01.  Agricultural  production.      "Agricultural
10    production"  means  the production for commercial purposes of
11    crops, livestock, and livestock and aquatic products, but not
12    land or portions thereof used for processing of  such  crops,
13    livestock, or livestock or aquatic products.
