 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 753

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 753 as follows:

 3    On page 1, line 12, after "animal.", by  inserting  "Acts  by
 4    persons engaged in lawful hunting, fishing, or trapping under
 5    the  Wildlife Code or the Fish and Aquatic Life Code and acts
 6    that are accepted and customary practices by persons  engaged
 7    in scientific or medical experiments or by persons engaged in
 8    meat packing, meat processing, or the slaughtering of animals
 9    or  raising  or  transporting  animals for slaughter shall be
10    exempt from the provisions of this Section.".
