 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 831

 2        AMENDMENT NO. ____.  Amend House Bill  831,  on  page  1,
 3    lines 25 and 26, by deleting "or an employee of the Ombudsman
 4    Program or any of its volunteers"; and

 5    on  page 1, line 28, by replacing "complaint, investigation,"
 6    with "complaint investigation"; and

 7    on page 1, line 29, by replacing "Class 4 felony" with "Class
 8    A misdemeanor"; and

 9    on page 1, lines 29  and  30,  by  replacing  "no  less  than
10    $10,000" with "no more than $2,500"; and

11    on  page  2, lines 3 and 4, by deleting "and shall be forever
12    barred from participating in the Ombudsman Program".
