 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 916

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 916, on page  1  by
 3    replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following:

 4        "Sec.  3.8.   Floodwater  management.  In counties having
 5    3,000,000 or more inhabitants, a municipality may enter  into
 6    intergovernmental  agreements  with a township for floodwater
 7    management in the unincorporated areas of the county."
