 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1234

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  1234  on  page  5,
 3    line 34, by deleting "that contains any provision"; and

 4    on  page  7,  by  replacing  lines  10  through  14  with the
 5    following:
 6        "In  any  legal  action  challenging  any   cancellation,
 7    termination,  or  failure to renew, the brewer has the burden
 8    of proving the existence of  good  cause  if  the  wholesaler
 9    first  makes  a  prima facie showing that good cause does not
10    exist."; and

11    on page  7,  by  replacing  lines  21  through  31  with  the
12    following:
13    "of this Act.".
