 1        AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing Section
 2    26-10.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.  The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
 6    Section 26-10 as follows:

 7        (35 ILCS 200/26-10)
 8        Sec. 26-10.  Informality  in  assessments  or  lists.  An
 9    assessment  of  property  or charge for taxes on the property
10    thereon, shall not be considered illegal on  account  of  any
11    informality in making the assessment, or in the tax lists, or
12    on  account  of  the  assessments not being made or completed
13    within the time required by law.
