 1        AN ACT to amend the Illinois  Pension  Code  by  changing
 2    Section 14-103.30.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.  The  Illinois  Pension  Code  is  amended  by
 6    changing Section 14-103.30 as follows:

 7        (40 ILCS 5/14-103.30) (from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 14-103.30)
 8        Sec.  14-103.30.  State  Universities  Retirement System.
 9    "State  Universities  Retirement  System":   The   retirement
10    system  established under defined in Article 15 of this Code,
11    being a continuation of the University Retirement  System  of
12    Illinois.

14        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
15    becoming law.
