 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3980

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3980 on page 2,  by
 3    replacing lines 16 through 20 with the following:
 4    "in  the  percentage  so  certified.   If  Whenever a housing
 5    authority is the lessee of property that is eligible  for  an
 6    abatement  under  this  Section,  the  lease  shall reflect a
 7    reduction in payments due under the lease  from  the  housing
 8    authority  in  the full amount of the abatement.  No property
 9    shall be".
