 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4300

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4300,  on  page  1,
 3    line  28,  by  deleting  the  words  "judicial  circuits that
 4    include"; and

 5    on page 2, line  2,  by  deleting  the  words  "by  any  such
 6    county"; and

 7    on  page  2,  line  4,  by  replacing "judicial circuit" with
 8    "county"; and

 9    on page 2, line 15,  by  replacing  "judicial  circuit"  with
10    "county"; and

11    on page 2, by replacing line 27 with the following:
12    "shall  be deposited monthly by the county treasurer in the";
13    and

14    on page 2, by deleting lines 33 and 34; and

15    on page 3, by deleting line 1; and

16    on page 3, by replacing lines 3 through 5 with the following:

17        "(a) The county board in a county that has established  a
18    neutral site custody exchange fund shall"; and

19    on page 3, by replacing line 8 with the following:

 1    "of  implementing  a  neutral  site custody exchange program,
 2    provided that the expenditure is approved by the chief  judge
 3    of the judicial circuit in which the county is located."; and

 4    on  page  3,  line 9, by replacing "Chief Judge" with "county
 5    board"; and

 6    on page 3, line 11,  by  replacing  "judicial  circuit"  with
 7    "county"; and

 8    on page 3, line 14, by replacing "circuit" with "county"; and

 9    on  page  3,  by  replacing  lines  19  through  28  with the
10    following:
11    "particular year shall be paid to the  county  treasurer  for
12    the administration of justice in the county."; and

13    on page 3, by replacing lines 30 and 31 with the following:

14        "(a) The county board in a county in which a"; and

15    on page 4, by replacing lines 2 and 3 with the following:
16    "adhered  to  by a not-for-profit organization in that county
17    in order to qualify for a grant under Section 20."; and

18    on page 4, by replacing line 11 with the following:
