1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 32
5 Section 1. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the
7 objects and purposes named, to meet the ordinary and
8 contingent expenses of Illinois Violence Prevention
9 Authority:
10 Payable from the Violence Prevention Fund:

14 For State Contributions to State

10 Section 2. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Violence
12 Prevention Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority
13 for the purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of
14 the Violence Prevention Act of 1995.
15 Section 3. The sum of $2,840,000, or so much thereof as
16 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
17 Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the
18 purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of the
19 Violence Prevention Act of 1995.
20 Section 4. The amount of $13,900,000, or so much of that
21 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
22 Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority
23 for its Safe to Learn Program.
24 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
25 July 1, 2000.
