2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of
5 those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are
6 appropriated for the objects and purposes hereinafter named,
7 to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
8 Legislative Research Unit:

10 For Employee Retirement Contributions

12 For State Contribution to State Employees'
13 Retirement System............................. 87,800
14 For State Contribution to Social
15 Security...................................... 67,500
16 For Contractual Services........................ 43,900
17 For Travel...................................... 10,000
18 For Commodities................................. 11,600
19 For Printing.................................... 14,400
20 For Equipment................................... 97,500
21 For Telecommunications Services................. 20,000
22 For New Member Conference....................... 30,000
23 Total $1,300,600
24 Section 10. The following named amounts, or so much of
25 those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are
26 appropriated to the Illinois Legislative Research Unit for
27 the following purposes:
28 For payment of expenses of the
29 Legislative Staff Intern program,
30 including stipends, tuition, and
31 administration for 20 persons................. $ 478,350
