 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4565

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4565,  by  deleting
 3    everything  after  the  enacting  clause  and  inserting  the
 4    following:

 5        "Section  5.  The  amount  of  $65,044,700,  or  so  much
 6    thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
 7    Revenue  Fund  to  the  Public  School  Teachers' Pension and
 8    Retirement Fund of Chicago for the State's  Contribution,  as
 9    provided by law pursuant to Public Act 90-548.

10        Section  99.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July
11    1, 2000.".
