 1        AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 1. The amount of $1, or so much of that amount as
 5    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated from the General Revenue
 6    Fund to the  Illinois  Arts  Council  for  the  ordinary  and
 7    contingent expenses of the Council.

 8        Section  99.  Effective  date.   This Act takes effect on
 9    July 1, 2000.
