1 AN ACT to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 by
2 changing Section 114-13.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is
6 amended by changing Section 114-13 as follows:
7 (725 ILCS 5/114-13) (from Ch. 38, par. 114-13)
8 Sec. 114-13. Discovery in criminal cases.
9 Discovery procedures in criminal cases shall be in
10 accordance with Supreme Court Rules.
11 The court may permit a person 60 years of age or older
12 who is an alleged victim of financial exploitation, abuse, or
13 neglect to testify by deposition taken at his or her
14 residence subject to conditions set by the court.
