1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 167
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 167 as follows:
3 on page 1, by replacing line 4 with the following:
4 "ARTICLE 5.
5 Section 5-5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 and other
6 good and valuable consideration, pursuant to and conditioned
7 upon the execution of an intergovernmental agreement entered
8 into by the Department of Human Services and the Village of
9 Tinley Park, to the"; and
10 on line 8, after "deed", by inserting the following:
11 ", subject to the condition that should the property conveyed
12 under this Section ever not be used by the grantee for public
13 purposes, then title shall revert to the State of Illinois
14 without further action on the part of the State,"; and
15 on line 23, by changing "Section 10." to "Section 5-10."; and
16 on page 2, after line 12, by inserting the following:
17 "This conveyance is subject to the condition that in the
18 event that the property ceases to be used by the United
19 Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago for the
20 provision of services and/or support for people with

1 disabilities, or if the United Cerebral Palsy Association of
2 Greater Chicago conveys or attempts to convey all or any
3 portion of the land to another party, then title to the land
4 shall revert to the State of Illinois without further action
5 by the State. Any deed or deeds executed under this Section
6 shall include appropriate provisions to effectuate the
7 purpose of this Section."; and
8 on line 13, by changing "Section 15." to "Section 5-15."; and
9 after line 21, by inserting the following:
10 "ARTICLE 10.
11 Section 10-5. Upon the payment to the State of Illinois
12 of an amount to be negotiated by the parties in interest and
13 according to the terms of an agreement between the Lockport
14 Township Park District and the Director of Corrections, the
15 Director of Corrections is authorized to convey by quitclaim
16 deed to the Lockport Township Park District all right, title,
17 and interest in and to the following described land in Will
18 County, Illinois:
19 The NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 21-36-10 and the SE
20 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 21-36-10, (approximately 80
21 acres), all in Township 36 North, Range 10 East of the Third
22 Principal Meridian in Will County, Illinois.
23 Section 10-10. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a
24 certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
25 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
26 appropriate Sections containing the land descriptions of
27 property to be transferred, and this Section within 60 days
28 after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of payment
29 required by the appropriate Sections, shall record the
30 certified document in the Recorder's office in the county in

1 which the land is located.
2 ARTICLE 15.
3 Section 15-5. Upon the payment to the State of Illinois
4 of an amount to be negotiated by the parties in interest and
5 according to the terms of an agreement between the Will
6 County Department of Highways and the Director of
7 Corrections, the Director of Corrections is authorized to
8 convey by quitclaim deed to the Will County Department of
9 Highways all right, title, and interest in and to the
10 following described land in Will County, Illinois:
11 That Part of the South Half of Section 29, Township 36
12 North, Range 10 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
13 Lockport Township, Will County, Illinois, described as
14 follows: Beginning at the Southeast comer of the Southwest
15 Quarter of the above said Section 29; thence westerly along
16 the south boundary of the above said Southwest Quarter 660.22
17 feet to the west boundary of the Stateville Penitentiary;
18 thence northerly 450.00 feet along that boundary; thence
19 easterly to a point which is 430.01 feet east and 450.00 feet
20 north of the point of beginning; thence South 450.00 feet to
21 the south line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29; thence
22 West and at a 90 degree angle from the last described course,
23 430.01 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 10 acres,
24 more or less. Acreage based on that portion outside the
25 limits of a 50 foot right of way.
26 Section 15-10. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a
27 certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
28 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
29 appropriate Sections containing the land descriptions of
30 property to be transferred, and this Section within 60 days
31 after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of payment
