 1        AN ACT to amend the Code of Civil Procedure  by  changing
 2    Section 1-103.

 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section 5.  The Code of Civil  Procedure  is  amended  by
 6    changing Section 1-103 as follows:

 7        (735 ILCS 5/1-103) (from Ch. 110, par. 1-103)
 8        Sec.  1-103.   Effect  of  headings.   Article, Part, and
 9    Section headings contained in this Code herein shall  not  be
10    deemed  to govern, limit, modify, or in any manner affect the
11    scope, meaning, or intent of the provisions of  any  Article,
12    Part, or Section of this Code Act.
