 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 283, on page 1  by
 3    replacing  line  1  with "AN ACT to conform State statutes to
 4    existing State practice."; and
 5        on page 2 by replacing line 1 with "and assist  them,  at
 6    their request, to improve their".
