 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 477

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill  477  on  page  1,
 3    lines  2  and  6,  by  deleting  "and  adding Section 16-1.4"
 4    wherever it appears; and

 5    by replacing lines 30 through 33 on page 3 and  by  replacing
 6    all of pages 4 and 5 with the following:

 7        "Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
 8    becoming law.".
