 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 556

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 556  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN  ACT  to  amend  the  School Code by changing Section
 5    21-17."; and

 6    by replacing everything after the enacting  clause  with  the
 7    following:

 8        "Section  5.   The  School  Code  is  amended by changing
 9    Section 21-17 as follows:

10        (105 ILCS 5/21-17) (from Ch. 122, par. 21-17)
11        Sec. 21-17. Fee for original and  duplicate  certificate.
12    A   duplicate  certificate  shall  be  issued  by  the  State
13    Superintendent of Education when requested  by  the  regional
14    superintendent  of  schools as provided in Section 21-16. The
15    request for a duplicate certificate shall be accompanied by a
16    fee of $4.
