1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. "AN ACT regarding appropriations and
5 reappropriations," Public Act 91-8, approved June 2, 1999, is
6 amended by changing Sections 230 and 270 of Article 1 as
7 follows:
8 (P.A. 91-8, Art. 1, Sec. 230)
9 Sec. 230. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may
10 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fund for Illinois'
11 Future to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs
12 Board of Higher Education for a grant to Dupage County the
13 Victoria Foundation for Career Connector Program start up
14 costs.

16 Sec. 270. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as
17 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Fund for Illinois'
18 Future to the Board of Higher Education for a grant to DePaul
19 University for technology scholarships and the High Tech
20 Workforce Crisis Program High-Tech work force program
21 scholarships for Information Technology workers.
22 Section 2. "AN ACT regarding appropriations and
23 reappropriations," Public Act 91-8, approved June 2, 1999, is
24 amended by changing Section 25 of Article 8 as follows:

26 Sec. 25. The sum of $90,000, or so much thereof as may
27 be necessary, is appropriated from the Fund for Illinois'
28 Future to Northern Illinois University for a grant to the

2 assistance to units of local government for hiring interns
3 through the Masters in Public Administration Program.
4 Section 3. "AN ACT regarding appropriations and

7 Section 215 of Article 14 as follows:

1 may be necessary and remains unexpended on June 30, 1999,
2 from an appropriation heretofore made for such purpose in
3 Article 92, Section 32 of Public Act 90-0585, is
4 reappropriated to the University of Illinois Capital
5 Development Board from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to plan
6 for a medical school replacement at the University of
7 Illinois at Chicago.
8 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
9 becoming law.
