 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The amount of $200,000, or so  much  of  that
 5    amount  as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
 6    Revenue Fund to the Illinois Department of Transportation for
 7    the purpose of purchasing seedlings from  the  Department  of
 8    Natural  Resources  to  plant  along the highways and medians
 9    where feasible.

10        Section 99.  Effective date. This  Act  takes  effect  on
11    July 1, 1999.
