 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 800

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 800, on page 5, by
 3    replacing lines 19 and 20 with the following:
 4             "(4)  Administration  of  anesthetics  (except   for
 5        other  than topical anesthetics and monitoring of nitrous
 6        oxide, which may be administered by  a  dental  assistant
 7        who   has   successfully  completed  a  training  program
 8        approved by the Department)."; and

 9    on page 5, line 30, after "polishing", by inserting ",  which
10    may   be   administered   by   a  dental  assistant  who  has
11    successfully completed a training  program  approved  by  the
12    Department".
