 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1055

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1055  on  page  1,
 3    line  17,  by  replacing "Act" with "Act (1681 U.S.C. Section
 4    1681 et seq.)"; and

 5    on page 1 by replacing line 30 with the following:
 6    "information."; and

 7    on page 2 by replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
 8    "If a personal check presented by a"; and

 9    on page 2, line 6, by  replacing  "the  consumer"  with  "the
10    consumer as required by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
11    (15 U.S.C. Section 1681 et seq.)".
