 1        AN ACT to create the Budget Implementation Act for Fiscal
 2    Year 2000.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  1.   Short  title.  This Act may be cited as the
 6    Budget Implementation Act for Fiscal Year 2000.

 7        Section 5.  Purpose.  It is the purpose  and  subject  of
 8    this  Act  to  make  the  changes  in State programs that are
 9    necessary to implement the Governor's budget  recommendations
10    for Fiscal Year 2000.

11        Section  99.  Effective  date.   This Act takes effect on
12    July 1, 1999.
