 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1231

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1231 by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.   The  Uniform Commercial Code is amended by
 5    changing Section 9-101 as follows:

 6        (810 ILCS 5/9-101) (from Ch. 26, par. 9-101)
 7        Sec. 9-101. Short title.
 8        This Article shall be known and may be cited  as  Uniform
 9    Commercial Code--Secured Transactions.
